我逃避的是那把郵件連帶附加檔案「傳送」出去的那一瞬間;
如果不寫出「真實」,我無法下筆;

Dear Sir and Madam,
My name is Huai-Yu. I was brought up in a warm and happy family. There is one thing that makes me very special in the family –– I have an elder brother and a younger brother, but we three are triplets, and I am the only daughter of my parents.
Several years ago I was fascinated by soccer. Starting from two years ago, I have been paying attention to matches of the English Premier League every day. Because of my enthusiasm in soccer, our family made a travel trip to London in the summer vacation of 2011 We visited Stamford Bridge, White Hart Lane, and Emirate Stadium, where we watched a warm up match before the match season. What an unforgettable and exciting experience it was!
Currently, I am the only female player of the soccer team of National Wuling Senior High School. In my spare time I like to read the British soccer magazines. I once submitted to Match an article together with a photograph, which were published as the “Star Letter” in the October issue. What made me more excited was that I got a pair of soccer shoes as the prize! Besides soccer, I like to play basketball, baseball, tennis and table tennis. I also learned martial art before. On the annual sports day of the school, I took part in different track games, and always won prizes. Music is another interest of me. I have learned to play the violin for nine years. Within the period, I successively learned to play the piano, clarinet and trombone. Besides soccer and music, I like reading and painting. Sometimes I write English short stories, and the protagonists of the stories are always my favourite soccer player.
I hope to go to the United Kingdom as an exchange student because I want to experience life in a kingdom of soccer. There must be great fun to enjoy kicking soccer and watching soccer matches with local soccer fans. I understand that during the year of my studying in UK, contrasting to Taiwan’s force-feeding education that makes students lose the initiative to pursue knowledge, the totally different education system of UK will inspire me a lot, and make me have more creativity and greater enthusiasm in learning. After one year, I will bring back to Taiwan my precious experience in UK, and introduce to my Taiwan classmates the country of UK with a long history. Although Taiwan is a small country with short history, we have friendly citizens, rich cultural resources and beautiful scenery. I would also be glad to introduce to the British students everything about the remote oriental country, Taiwan.
I am kind, easy-going, and like to help people and share good things with friends. As a conscientious and responsible student, I always try my best to do things well. I treasure every moment I get along with people, and am always thankful for everything I own. I believe that after I move in your house, I can get along with you happily. I look forward to living with you in the near future.
Yours faithfully,
Huai-Yu
